The coldest wind chill vs. warmest heat index across Lower 48 today:
- Montana near -70°F
- Florida near 90°F
160°F difference~!
Yeah wind is blustery here and snow flurries stopped and melting even on the grass! But temps are falling fast! Should be near you or past by now.
Stay warm!

Woke up to extremely high winds and looked out to blinding horizontal snow! Hopped into my van a went over to Cunningham Falls to see what, if anything, was frozen or snowed in.

I have a couple from the old Bethlehem Steel Plant in Bethlehem PA from a few years back, and one that is just one of my favorites.
Thanks for looking,
Gero
Great captures Gero!!!!
I used to pass by "Beth Steel" in Sparrows Point and there was very little activity there. Always wanted to "drop" in a see if they would allow me to take pictures.
I can remember when the dry docs were full of ships having mtce done on their metal hulls!

Southampton is about 15-20 southwest of me. Westhampton is another 15-20 west of that.
I grew up in Westhampton and it’s changed a lot. This used to be a movie theater and now it’s a concert hall/theater for plays. Very nice.
Thanks Dan!

Now this is great!
We have about 8" On the ground after Thursdays-Fridays "dump" Sub zero temps.
The town near me requires the street sidewalks to be clear ASAP and the merchants do that anyway. But it is nice to see snow on the town streets. Makes it more "community"!
Nice work Rich!
