This "dive" was years, MANY, years ago called "Cheeseburgers in paradise" after the Jimmy Buffet song. Jimmy did not like that and had the owner change the name.

Something about this capture(#1) that is very alluring to my eyes. Very intriguing, a bit mysterious...reminded me of a sci-fi movie that I can't recall the name.....got it!! "I Am Number Four", Timothy Oliphant
Well seen....its my meds mate!
Dan
No disrespect to the people in the frame.

Meet "Mary B"! She was born in this house, bought and lives there now and she hopes to pass there!
It was a cool brilliantly sunny morning as I walked through the alley this was taken from.
In post #2, the "junk yard" office was repurposed as a residence but the owners kept the original facade.
Notice the phone number...Mary B...was thee operator who would have "plugged and dialed" that number at the local phone company switchboard.
Across the alley way was the "Lau"..short for Laundry Mat
Dan
Mary B's house is next door to the junk yard and across and up in the alley way.
