This is interesting from their website. I have not seen a discrepancy with my M lenses between film and digital!
"The lens' macular focus is based on the Leica
M Digital Edition. Players using Leica M film
cameras need to adjust the lens focusing
mechanism according to the instructional
video. Please kept informed!"
Looks like I will be getting a review sample of the new Mr. Ding branded version of this lens.
Unfortunately they also raised the price significantly making it a little less attractive :/

Looks like he altered the deep pseudo lens hood/filter threads.
Not sure about the rangefinder coupling of the lens, I did some shots with the M10r and mounted the 50mm on my techart on Sony a7r3 to see a general performance, knowing the possibility to have some smearing in the corner and some harsh bokeh.
So..
It seems well built, the only complaint is the different distance of the aperture clicks... having all the other lenses by CV and Leica with clicks at the same distance...
I see a tilt on the focal plane, at 2.8...
I checked and it goes away after 5.6, not a big issue for a lens made for subject isolation (I was really obsessed with all my wide-angle glasses and old pro zooms).
All the following pictures are shots at 1.1, with Sony a7r3 on Techart, developed using our WIP M9 Leica Cobalt Profile and with all the AC removed with a click on Lightroom.
the following is a test at the main working distance of this lens at f8
I will try to check the rangefinder calibration before testing it on M10r, I see some bad smearing on the corner at 1.1... Yes, is still a 350Ł lens, but I don't like that!
I got my copy of the lens last week too. It took eight days to receive it in east coast of US. I took it with me during the lunch hour to take few snap shoots. The images were taken with a Leica SL body and all the images had minimal or none processing done to them and they were all taken at open f-stop of 1.1.
other pictures from this lens and the M10R
I see a lot less AC (no heavy corrections needed) and some weird behaviours on the external side of the image at 1.1 ... smearings or similar effects...instead of a soft level of focus translations. yes 1.1 is not the best choice with any lens, but I don't like that.
I DO like the bokeh rendering in 60% of the frame from the centre of the frame.
all 1.1 with Cobalt Ricoh GR positive film colours.

Google's Chinese to English translation produced a nearly incomprehensible word salad but did I correctly ascertain that the filter thread has increased from 52mm to 58mm?

Word salad? This is what I got from that link:
"It is really hard to do ab test, I admire those masters who do center sharpness and edge sharpness at all apertures.
This kind of ab test is too scientific, and it is easy for people to lose their feelings and become like work, boring.
It's better to take a few turns on the street and take a photo on the street. Hey, medium focus, sharp, the f1.1 is so wet, it's a pleasure to come.
Like those savage guys on the oral scene talking about that Hong Kong-made 50mm f1.1 dick beat leica night god. Oh....I brought the second generation of Dingjing 50mm f1.1 to the altar of Leica, on behalf of their ignorance and meaningless, say sorry to God Leica, apologize, forgive me."
quite hard to focus there, part of the frame is almost off from 1.1 to f4.
I think is tilted a bit.
Already contacted by them, they told me about this problem and assured me about a replacement.
That would be the focal plane issue that has been discussed earlier. Would be really interesting to see if the replacement lens does not show the issue, which would mean that they identified and resolved.

This lens now seems awfully pricey for something that seems to be haphazardly constructed.
I paid ~200€ for mine and the only thing I had to do so far was tightening the screws once.
So from my PoV it is about as haphazardly constructed as a Canon TS-E 17mm 4.0L where I had to do the same.

Were your optics “tilted” as some others have reported?
I thought the price point is much higher than 200 now.

Either they're now doing actual quality control, or they felt they were leaving too much money on the table compared to the other 'fast 50s from China' competition.
