Rusty Bug@Kent and I were just discussing old sewing machines with his entry in the WA category! Now this is an olde but a goody. Does it have a treadle?

Thanks Dan....yes, it does have a treadle....the accessories box in the photo is the original box, and those are the original instructions. My wife has it in her study along with all her books and MANY chairs. It's HER room and sometimes she allows me to go in there

..To me it is not about winning "SB"! It is getting involved...seeing what other the members "take" on the WA title is.
Members decide who wins..the fact that I even got 1 vote means someone liked it!
I though it was a unique photograph taken a long time ago. I just took a image of it.
Great Uncle Claude was a dapper, world traveller and had a great history!

Yep, sometimes a person's take on the WA is really unique.....lots of creative people on this site.
I like doing the WA's because it keeps me shooting and gives me a specific goal. We have an annual Fair here every year and it has a photo contest with categories......17 counties involved so quite a few pics.......I've been putting entries in it for about 10 years.......the weekly WA's are kind of a weekly "Fair Competition" for me.

Amen!!!! I did a "Barnstormer's Tour" for Photographer's for many years. I also enter the County Fair each year.
Keeps me shooting as you remark. And enjoy seeing what other people are doing and what they might point out to me that makes me a better photographer!
