A few closeups with the 24-120 f/4 S on the Z8 at 120mm f/4. I am wondering if I even need the 105 MC Macro as this seems to get close enough for most purposes.

It is amazing how the 24-120 f/4 almost keeps up with the MC 105 for closeups at the same magnifcation. The macro lens has shallower depth of field and a bit creamier background, but the sharpness holds up on the zoom.

24-120 on on the z8 at my son's Ultimate Frisbee tournament yesterday. Coupled with crop ability of the z8 makes for a versatile lens for sideline action.
