As a general rule, a map is typically printed and read as if one is looking from the south to the north. This particular map is displayed from the opposite viewing angle. I can't help but wonder why this perspective was chosen by it's creator.
Just an observation from my twisted brain and in NO WAY has anything to do with how your image of it was captured.
