No fun at all at Conowingo. Probably the worst I've ever been. No Eagle action at all while I was there. I decided to try for the Snowy Owl near Intercourse PA (yes folks there really is town called Intercourse in Pennsylvania, it's not far from Bird-in-Hand) No sign of the Snowy. OK then I'll head home via Middle Creek and walk out to Willow Point. The trail was close due to a Goose Hunt. So I came home and took these.

That stump was good to you at least!
I'm heading down to a local state park this weekend to try and catch some eagle action myself. I've read they're most active in the morning, but never actually tried to see them feed before. I'm bracing for a bust myself.

Good luck at the weekend. They池e starting nest building and making repairs to existing nests up here. Photographers come from as far afield as California to photograph at Conowingo Dam. In good years there痴 200+ Eagles wintering there and when they start generating which stuns the fish, that痴 the Eagles dinner bell. It痴 a bit late in the year for me this trip. Here痴 a 2016 visit.

Back in November I was at Conowingo and eagles were fewer than I remember a couple or so years ago. I did get a couple eagles in flight and a heron/eagle interaction at that island in the middle, and that was about it.

Not sure who you were directing the exif comment at, but if anyone wants that info for my shots, it's available on my Flickr (link in my profile). Too much work to copy/paste here since I'm merely linking and not uploading.
Hopefully everyone can agree my 2nd copy of this lens is considerably sharper than the first
