Impressed by the lowlight performance of this camera, this is from the parking lot of a local outdoor mall (not my car). Straight out of camera into Capture One Pro 22, exported 20% scaled resolution.

Yup, 3 is pretty good, but 4, 4 would be really special.

These birds find the most unpleasant backgrounds to sit in front of.
They are very rude.
I took this shot with the a7R3 with the 100-400.
It was a couple of days before the a74 arrived, and my repaired 200-600 got back from the shop.
Our local Bald Eagle in a local park. Bald Eagles are slowly coming back in the South Bay (Silicon Valley) after almost going extinct in California in mid 20th century. This one looked like a young adult.

And the LEO is just such a beautiful creature.
How about you tour me someday? I'd rather shadow you then Sax-zim if I'm going to freeze to death (hasn't been above freezing here for almost 2 weeks). The high yesterday was 15F. I know, nothing like your world though
