Interesting about the AF being similar to A9 level for tracking. Was not expecting that.That means it must be much better than the Riv I suppose. Wonder if in a year or so they port all this A7iv stuff into the A7cii.

Morning sunrise from my deck. Colors were better earlier but was hiking w/ my dog in the forest. Just got the Batis 85 from the FM B&S.

Only thing that bugs me about the A7IV is that I occasionally press the AEL button which I have mapped to Metering mode. Figure once I have more time-in-hand, my thumb will stay to the left

Still try out the various AFs tracking for bird in flight. So far only getting reasonable keeper with the Wide and Zoom.

Excellent photo! Would be interesting to see what AF Areas work best. I read somewhere that someone was using Center Tracking with great success. I too am experimenting. But since I have a Mac there is no updates to download photos.

Yep we hit 34F yesterday. First time above freezing in a week, and I'm in the south

Here's a snap of the front yard with the 7iv+kit zoom. This was 10 days ago when it was balmy warm. Things have changed drastically since.
