Hi, Mark! I once read something from great photographer Dan Milner who was commenting on what made up a great image. Here is his quote:
"Making original work is the single most important thing you can do. Now, this isn't easy and it might take you years to figure out how to do it. That's okay. There's no rushing certain things, and this is one of those things.
Your work should be different than my work. Your work should be as unique as your fingerprint. The vast majority of images you see, especially on platforms like Instagram are derivative works, content not photography. Content is work that crosses your eyes but never hits your brain. Photography, on the other hand, involves those rare images that are IMPOSSIBLE to forget. Seared into your psyche for the rest of your life!" Dan Milner
This image, and countless others that you have made fit into this category...IMPOSSIBLE to forget! Congratulations and best wishes on your continued journey of creativity!!!
Sincerely, David
P.S. I have purchased many of your educational videos and I attended your very first printing seminar with Robert Park. What a boost that seminar was to my journey into the world of printing. :-))

David, this is such an awesome quote and encouragement! Blessings on you, your family and loved ones during these times! Thank you so much! I actually snapshotted this to read again! I hope you are doing well! And GREAT to hear your print skills have gone upward! Can you imaging print guru of gurus Robert and I are doing our fifth annual "The Ultimate Mastering Fine Art Printmaking Workshop" this March 26-28 (although the first year we did two). Time sure flies! Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you! 🙏🏼
Absolutely stunning image Mark! Love the light, colors and sense of depth. Can you briefly explain the 32 bit single image processing? I’m not familiar with that. Are you taking the same image and creating virtual copies each adjusted for different elements and then combining them into a 32 bit file somehow? Great work, thanks for sharing!
