I managed to find a few days to get away from work so I took a quick trip to the Vancouver area. The weather wasn't the greatest, however, I had a wonderful time.
I'm very pleased with my new gear and am hopeful to find more time to become more comfortable with it.
Thanks for looking.
Jason
Wonderful captures, Jason! I really enjoy the two images of the harrier, #6 and #8, that made eye contact with you. Don’t get me wrong, the entire set is superb.
yes you almost look like a rookie with the 'new gears'
That first pose is powerful, love it!
Finding the Barn Owl is special, only have seen one in the wild in my life! Nice set, great subjects and nice post

Great variety in short period in one location. So you got rid of your cheap Canon gear?
I don't understand the comment that weather wasn't the greatest in the Vancouver area though.

Thanks Tony. Yep, the cheap Canon gear is nearly gone.... Both Sony and Canon have phenomenal gear and I'm not experienced enough to provide a good comparison between the 2.
