p.1 #1 · Konjscica pasture - a gateway to Triglav National Park
It was November 2nd an day after the holiday - my wife and I took an extra day off to go hiking. I wanted to capture the Larch trees as they turn golden for a long time now, and this was the perfect place to do that. So even though It did`t look good weather wise, we stayed positive and left home anyway. It was a 3hours drive to the starting point of the hike and it was raining the whole time - but luckily for us the rain stopped as we reached Lake Bled at the foot of the Alps - hurray
The hike was gorgeous 13km through the woods of Pokljuka to our destinations the two beautiful moiuntain pastures - Konjscica and Uskovnica above Lake Bohinj in the heart of Triglav National Park.
These are the images I took at Konjscica pasture. Hope I did the place justice.

Thank you very much
I like Lake Bohinj area very much, we come here often to hike the surrounding mountains. The lake itself is also a pleasure to bathe in during summer months of course 😁

these are awesome, love the Alps but this part of them is probably overshadowed by the Swiss and Italian sections. so thanks for sharing. my favorite is the last image.

Yes, the Italians, the Swiss and the Austrian Alps are bigger and more known, more popular, but we too have some nice locations to show Like you said - save the best for last - this last frame would be a real eye catcher if those low hanging clouds would disperge just a little to show them ~2500 meter peaks rising high above this pasture

Those buildings and the surroundings bring back memories of a hike in Bavaria some years back — very pleasant memories!
Very happy if I could help bring back some good memories - isn`t that one of the beauties of photography? Thanks
