Yes, it appears Sigma does make a 24-35mm f2 zoom lens.
It looks Like SAR took this headline from Tamron's website and left out the accompanying foot note. Sloppy, but probably not intentionally not malicious.
From Tamron website:
The world's first (1) F2 all-in-one full-frame mirrorless travel zoom lens
Footnote:
1 Among fast-aperture interchangeable zoom lenses for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras (As of August, 2021: TAMRON)
I wouldn't even call it a travel lens for 2 big issues from my viewpoint:
1. Weighs a ton to lug around all day.
2. I need wider than 35 for sure when traveling.
So no, for me at least, this is not a travel lens at all.

Spell checks have been around for 30 years. They take 2 seconds. The guy is a clown with zero pride. Even when mistakes that are glaring are pointed out, he never makes edits. If he had a boss he would have been fired long ago.

Ummm...why? Seems like there are tons of people going to the site and viewing his grammatical errors...after all isn't that what it's all about, generating traffic to the site. Seems to me he's more a genius than a clown...and maybe the clowns are more the people that complain about the site...yet continue to visit it.

Exactly. Why should he have pride in his qork? People go anyway. And their phones arr absolutely assaulted with popups and ads. And the site is mostly affiliate link spam. Compared to other rumor sites and you see a gargantuan difference.
But you want to celebrate sloppiness just because he gets away with it. Ok then. The amount of sycophant tribalists among hobbyists always baffled me. Good job with the white knighting.

I might have been to the site once or twice. I don't follow rumours, I just wait for the official releases. If you don't agree with his site...just stay away. Seems pretty easy to me.

There's no use in lying. Can you now please answer my question?
Less than ten days (if it's really rolled out on the 25th of October) and we know more about what's really of interest, the Tamron 35-150mm.
I assumed your question was rhetorical, since no one is comparing these lenses... they were merely cited as factual examples of existing, faster, full-frame zoom lenses to prove that the click-bait blog title in question was false and misleading.

I really think that in the end it breaks down to the versatility of the focal length. If, as a wedding photographer, you can work with two cameras at a time, it might get close. Otherwise to me it seems unbeatable if you want to be flexible. But well, I will pass on my final judgement when I have it here

Small YT but still - a first semi-review:
At 2:45 of this video he mentions how bad and inconsistent the AF is in low light. So much for this being a great portrait and wedding lens if you can't use it in studio where most portraits are done and in lower light, where many weddings are held.. Any lens will focus and have very good AF in good lighting, even my cheap Tamron 28-200 No wonder its being marketed as a travel lens and we arent seeing all the usual YouTube reviewers with this in hand putting up their reviews.
As I have been saying, Tamron is keeping this lens from getting out to reviewers who arent working for them, now we know why. The bokeh quality looks pretty bad in the shots starting at 9:15 as well, especially at 35mm. I'll still probably rent one to test out but its not looking good for the high price.

Another video showing both the 28-75 and the 70-180 being just as good, if not better in some areas. At the AF test was awful. No wonder Tamron is marketing this as a walk around travel lens and not a pro portrait/wedding lens, they know. I may not even bother renting this actually. I feel sorry for all those who preordered it. This is why I always wait for reviews.

Apart from the lovely Pentax FA77 1.8 the Pentax 50-135 f2.8 was my favorite (portrait) lens for Pentax. And it’s AF was (in comparison) incredibly slow. However, I never had any complaints. Got everything without any issues. But we’ll see how it will perform when it hits the market
