For the next 6 months I'll be quite busy with work and study, as I have to prepare for my oral board exam (given in mid June). Therefore, this will probably be my last image post till them. I'll continue to moderate the forum but won't have much time to post too many comments. After the exam, I'll be back in full force. Wish me luck!
I leave you with this shot from Canyonlands. It's a classic sunrise over Mesa Arch. Here's to new beginnings.
Lots of love to all!

Best of luck on the board exam. About the picture- I had thought the early morning shot would be my absolute favorite but now I am torn. Both are spectacular! I think the excellent color in the sky is the final touch on an otherwise outstanding image.
Mahesh,
No exceptions, the best Mesa Arch Shot I've ever seen. Best of luck on your orals and exams. As for the healing arts, "non carborundum illegitimum" sorry my Latin is pretty ancient. I hope your spirit and creativity survives the bureaucracy. Best of luck and I hope you are back posting soon. Tim
Best of luck to you, doc, in this upcoming milestone. I will look forward eagerly to your return. I can't see the image right now (probably you are editing or something), but I'll return and take a look.
Damn outstanding! I don't believe a word of your talk about halting your photography for that long. Maybe less of you, but any is always good. Like this image. If you work an MRI machine as well as your camera, you'll dominate the field.
Good luck!

Wow Doc....Super image. I am sure you will not need good luck with the oral exam. Your attention to detail in your photography is, I'm sure, an indication of the way you will prepare for the exam. Find a good study group and we will all be eagerly looking forward to your next posting.
