I have been shooting these burrowing owls in the morning until I discovered that the late afternoon/early evening light is actually a lot more interesting although it's a bit harder/trickier to shoot especially when it's backlit! Hope you will like some of them!

These are all great, but the first one is superb! What an excellent composition!
It looks like someone has been giving these birds dancing and modeling lessons.
You're right to like the light. It's excellent.

Bobby these shots are really beautiful. The light is superb. Like others the composition in #1 is really neat. I love the golden light around the wings in a bunch but especially #10.
How about a nice shot of Joshua in that beautiful light.
