Dear Giuseppe,
I'm looking for a cobalt profile to use in ACR with my Hasselblad X1D
Do you have the possibility to profile this camera?
I appreciate repro and I'm using it for landscape editing on the A7RII
Would like to do the same with the X1D
Thanks

We are working on this basic profile, hoping to be able to release a well-working profile soon!
A suggestion for the "Our colours" section:
Instead of the static left side image, how about adding the film roll on that one too, so you could compare two emulations with each other?

I am a landscape only shooter and have been reading this thread for a while. I would be interested in getting recommendations on what people are using from Cobalt for their work? I shoot with the A7RIII and the A6000 as my light travel and backup body.

Perhaps I could help you for more specific questions!
I've just purchased and installed the Silver Film emulation pack. How do I access the different versions for Neopan (400 & 1600) and Delta/TMAX (400 & 3200)?

Hi, you should choose the emulation (tone and contrast) first and later the grain level ISO dependant.

When you say "later the grain level ISO dependant", do you mean modifying the grain settings in Lightroom's Effects panel? To be honest, I expected that different emulations would be supplied for (say) Neopan 400 and for Neopan 1600.
The real negative films are more dependant by development settings and the paper than the film speed itself.
This is more a different feeling of grain and exposure setting on shot than anything else.
So on digital emulation is useless if not just as fake marketing, to sell different tone settings between a 400 and a 1600 Neopan when in fact you have the biggest difference on grain.
When you select the profile you are at starting point of digital development and the contrast will be the first slider/curve to adapt to your image.
That makes useless a 400 / 1600 option .. not even states on our website ..other than grain.
Yes, seems silly, but mono films are more connected to grain outside the development process than anything else...
Btw, please do not forget, we are continually improving our products; I am confident, never adding a 400 1600 different profiles, there are other possible improvements...
Ps. Use preset only, both emulation and grain settings.

Does anybody have any real world experience using Iridient Developer with Cobalt Profiles?
Theoretically Cobalt Profiles should be compatible with Iridient Developer as Iridient Developer supports Adobe DCP but it would be nice if somebody could confirm that.
Hi
I recently purchased DNG profile for Leica M10R , SL, ricoh GR2 ( I thought GR and GR2 is using same profile since site does not have GR2 option but I found GR profile does not work for GR2 ) and Kodak film emulation and CCD fever and Leica CCD monochrome.
In lightroom, color from Kodak film color profile tab on right side development and preset side are totally different
Which one is right one and why these are so different?
I am checking this issue and I found that when I apply film emulsion or one kind of DNG profile from profile tab on the right side then if I try to apply other profile then it generate very contrasty and strange color. I did reset the photo then next profile generate correct color and contrast for that.
How can I fix this problem?
Please help me.
I am struggling with Cobalt Kodak, CCD fever, CCD monochrome emulsion in Lightroom.
I install all of this as Zip file import.
All camera DNG profiles, Kodak film emulsion , CCD fever, CCD monochrome emulsion showed up on profile tap on the right side but only Kodak emulsion set showed up preset tab on the left. I cant install these other emulsions as preset even I put these file manually in preset folder in Camera Raw.
Bigger issue is Kodak emulsion on preset side and profile side act very differently. profile side one looks very weird and washed out look with greenish tint. Preset side looks ok but I do not know which one is correct color that meant to be. And after I apply profile side Kodak emulsion I can not go to other profile correctly without putting curve to linear manually. I was really glad to find this Cobalt profiles but it does not work properly or I need to learn how to use it correctly.
Someone Please help me
Thank you
I am also wondering there is DNG file for Ricoh GR 2
I purchased GR DNG today thinking GR DNG file will work with GR and GR2 since Cobalt site did not have GR2 as option but it did not work.
I sent email and waiting for response but I really want to buy DNG profile for GR2 since I am using this camera quite often.
DNG profile for GR2 is available ?
I am sorry about that.
It's all explained many times on our product page and on our FAQ page.
Film emulation profiles work properly using the preset tab ( recall profile and curves).
Please contact us by mail for any info about our products. We are working on gr2 profile in the meantime.
