Why so complicated? I mean, clearly, LR-users are the majority. But it would be nice/helpful if C1 unseres could simply order via the online shop as LR users can. I surely would have ordered some profiles already.

I'm interested in this for the new Fuji profiles, and use Adobe Camera Raw. Can someone please tell me if these profiles load into Raw, so are just added to the list of profile selections? Or is this an independent program and a separate step?
take a look here, basic calibrated profiles profiles for digital emulations, preset+profiles for film emulations.

ask to capture one developers
For each camera model and each profile we should start the profilation and the calculations, no MODULAR system for them.
That means hundreds of cameras * hundreds of single profiles.
With tailored you pay for a single pack made for your specific camera model and we "cook" it for you!
Thank you. I tried to find all those profiles/emulations for C1 there. I was only able to find one “package“, consisting of three profiles as I understood. Is it possible to simply order others for C1 there? I suppose not.
Is there still no way to compare all the profiles/packs/simulations on a few sample photos? Then I still don't understand how I could choose between them.

Just to understand it correctly: Where‘s the difference in comparison to Lightroom?

You have the freedom to buy and download the basic profiles of your choice here
On the bottom you can find :
"PS. Please feel free to contact us for any request regarding customized profiles for Capture One; Fuji, Leica, or other emulations are available upon request."
And I go firther telling you, we manage that receiving a request of combination required of "camera-emulation" replying what tailored pack is needed, you can find them on the othr side of the website, not perfect and clean I know , we are working on that

No comparison tool, no buy.
Hi, we are working on that too, for now you have before and after on a sample image to check the main difference between the emulations, if you have something more specific in mind you can send one or two raws by mail so we can show you the specific emulation applied on them.

I mean that I would like to compare all of the emulations on the same image (or a few), and I suppose it doesn't matter what camera was used to capture that image. Just to get a rough idea of how the emulations differ, which is impossible to know as it is now. I don't have a clue of how emulation A looks compared to emulation B if I can only see them on different photos from different cameras shot in completely different light.
So, not a specific emulation, since I don't know what emulations I'm interested in, because I can't compare them. I think you should and could fix this pretty quickly by just running all of the packs on 5-10 images that you already have, and make a function on the site where one could switch between the emulations and see the difference directly.

Is something planned, just needs time and now is useless cause we are completely updating the website and his logic.
Maktens point is also crucial to me (+ complicated process for Capture One unseres when they want to invest in your products). I will wait for the updated website before buying. Hopefully things will be easier then
Thanks for getting back to me and addressing my questions!
Thank you; yes, I went to this site a spend a fair amount of time looking at it. I cannot find a clear answer to this questions anywhere: do these profiles import directly into Adobe Camera Raw? I.e. in the same place where users can choose between camera and Adobe profiles?
It SEEMS to suggest that it does, so I figured this is like a Bill in the US Congress: "you have buy it to find out what's in there".
So I bought the Fuji profiles, downloaded them, and did my best to follow the instructions. Example, the instructions say to put the profiles in a folder in Adobe. I found the exact location, but cannot create a Cobalt folder as instructed. Options are grayed out. I tried putting the profiles in Camera and Adobe profile folders as well. But then when following the instructions to import in the Profiles section in Raw, they are not there.
I recall doing this with profiles years ago. But Adobe is now like Microsoft: you rent vs buy it. Does Adobe NOT allow the process Cobalt suggests to load these?
On the web site, there is no support number to call. I sent an email to the address listed for "contact", with the receipt for profiles, asking for help. No response as of yet.
When I was using a Fuji camera, up to just a few weeks ago, the Fuji profiles were in Camera Raw.
Just looking for some help here. I know this site is for professional photographers only. I'm just a hobbyist looking for some help. This company has to have some way to help regular people too?
I would prefer to get this resolved because I like the Fuji profiles so much better than the Sony ones or Adobe standard. I have a feeling that getting a refund is even harder to get if I can't work this out.
I've just received my Ricoh GR iii X but notice that despite having a Cobalt Profile for the GR iii they've surprisingly not pulled across to the 3X. As beside the lens everything should be the same does it really still need a separate camera license? And, if so, are you planning to produce the profile for this camera?

You likely did not also purchase the profile specific to your camera. That is a required step per camera model. The film and digital emulations work across all cameras, once you have the camera’s profile installed. All will show up where you expect in the Profile pull down in ACR and LR.
We made a small and simple "comparometer" of our colours (film are not ready yet) using two different pictures with 65 of our digital emulations and basic profiles.

Please take a look on your accounts!
Giuseppe,
What's the best way to wipe the older versions before installation of the updated packs/film emulations (in Lightroom)?
Do I:
1) right click on the preset (left-hand side pane) and click Delete Group, or
2) right click on preset under the Profile Browser (right-hand side pane) and click Delete Group, or
3) navigate to some folder on my PC and delete the files from there?
I just want to make sure I'm performing a clean "install".
