I have already bought the basic package for Capture One, both for my Sony A7III and my Leica Q2. I like it so far
Postprocessed some shots yesterday and preferred the ones where I started with the cobalt profiles.
Bought the profiles for my A1 for Capture One. Looks like there is a bit too much gamut compression with these. I prefer the ProStandard profile in Capture One compared to these.
In my experience making camera profiles using dcamprof/Lumariver for Capture One I prefer profiles with less gamut compression.
The DNG versions of these are probably better but I do not plan on spending another $55 just to find out.
Cobalt, you are frustrating me. After loading the update to the Fuji Film and purchasing the Kodak new version, I have made favorites of so many of your profiles that now my Favorites list is huge.

We made a small and simple "comparometer" of our colours (film are not ready yet) using two different pictures with 65 of our digital emulations and basic profiles.
Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted! And it shows the rather extreme difference between the Fuji digital Velvia and the "film" Velvia 50. I hate the former and love the latter.
Actually, the Velvia 50 looks more or less exactly like what I've been struggling to mimic, because of the cool blues and reds, compared to the very green-yellow cast of all Fuji native digital simulations.
We updated the Kodachrome pack.
After hundreds of feedback, posts opened and many suggestions we changed something:
1-added the similar engine of other film.. Kodak and Fuji
2-Highly improved the Last roll, and the add of the curves made possible to join the two bright and dark into one better and editing proof profile.
3-introduced the new SIXTIES colour signature, for lovers of blueish 1960s mood.

One question: Can I set one profile as a default setting so that I don‘t have to change it to let‘s say Cobalt Standard for every single picture?
I‘ll try it one more time: Maybe someone can answer the question quoted above. I‘m using Capture One 21.

If I already shoot Fuji, how do these compare to Fuji's profiles and the ones in C1? I see mostly examples from folks using Adobe, which I don't use as I think C1 works better for me. I can see the need for my Sony camera. Is there a demo available?
I'm very late, but don't forget Fuji's X RAW Studio for color tweaking.

that allows all Sigma Merrill users to enable our modular base.
Really excited to see this developing!
On another camera - given that the GRIII uses the same sensor as the GRIII-X, any chance that you can extend the GRIII application to be used for the GRIII-X?
Many thanks again. Love the journey that you are taking us on.

This isn't specific to these profiles but if you make a copy of profiles you have for the GRIII, rename them GRIII-X, and then use a hex editor to change the name inside the profile to match as well. That's all it takes for your profile to be used for the GRIII-X.

Hmm. Appreciate the suggestion, but I think I will leave that crucial change inside the profile to the author of the software...
Any time. This works for all profiles where the camera sensor is the same (hence using the identical color profile - just with a different name). Sony A7RIII vs A7RIIIa, etc.
The author of the color profile is not doing any additional work in these cases. Whether that's these profiles, Adobe, or yourself when you create your own.
