A couple images I shot with the Sony 50mm f/1.2 GM this past weekend. It did well in tight quarters as a portrait lens. The A1 also did very well considering the low light, and high ISO that required.

Looks like PDAF striping. Reflections form the metal masks on phase detect pixels. Only happens when shooting backlit subjects and I think some lenses make it more prominent than others.
IIRC, RawTherapee incorporated a fix for this issue:
What camera is it? A7III, A9, and A6xxx bodies appear to be the most commonly affected bodies. Not sure about A7IV. R bodies have much smaller pixels so the issue isn’t anywhere near as noticeable in my understanding.

I am indeed using A7iii. Seems like no big deal, doesn't bother me too much. Happened to only one pic after all.
I love and hate each one of you for posting these outstanding images. I successfully stayed away from the forum and GAS for many many moons, and I come back for a few days and now have this lens in my bag. Awful, just awful influence. And thank you.

Great pictures everyone! I suspect many of our kids will grow up with this lens and get accustomed to this wonderful draw . Hard to see how they can improve upon this in the future.
