I was hoping to get some decent fishing shots today but they were again either too far away or all butt shots. Anyway, I got a few that I like.
The cormorant /catfish was shot at 600mm+1.4 TC, in APS-C mode, then cropped away about 3/4 of the frame. The second shot was not cropped at all, the eagle just came too close!
Thanks for looking and as always, C&C are appreciated.
The first is a fabulous photo. The 4th has huge potential with processing that adds some pop via contrast created by peeking the black and highlight points and then carful curves adjustment. The others are good solid eagle photos.

Those are killer shots, Douglas, especially the first one in more than just one sense! In addition to that, #4 is gorgeous. I really enjoy this set.

Thank you, Gary! You are most kind! Again, I am not (yet ) a serious bird like some, there is so much to learn!

Nice Conowingo set, but wow! that first shot of the cormorant with its hapless victim is amazing!
Thank you Shirley. Sometimes when it's quiet with bald eagle actions, cormorants provide some entertainment. There are so many of them at Conowingo
