Great shot....I hear your pain....this time of year I have all my flowers in bloom and yet all I see are boring juveniles or molting adults usually missing a few primary feathers and no males with a full gorget.

Nice set, Laslo! I have been wanting to go the DC zoo again for a while. I usually park on the street and walk over but now if you don't pay $30 to park at their parking you will need to get a free ticket online first. I am waiting for their new bird house to open next year.
Some shots from New Jersey yesterday. I arrived at Stone Harbor before sunrise, hoping to see the tern chicks but didn't see any, then I drove to Ocean City to see the ibises and herons, couldn't believe there are so many and it was so easy to photograph them, almost like going to a zoo.
