Thanks! I only have the 200-600... I might get the 600 f4.... eventually .... Yes maybe we can meet up sometime in the fall. Might take some trips in the local region when the weather gets cooler.

Clearly the perch is leaning because of rolling shutter. We need global shutter ASAP

Thank you Robert. Now I have found a fun place to shoot herons and ibises, its almost like cheating, you park your car at the visitor center in ocean city, nj, walk 50 to the viewing area, there you will see dozens of birds and their nests at fairly close range at eye level, lots of activities. I should have gone a few weeks earlier when the chicks were younger. I will stop by there again next week on my way to Atlantic City to shoot different kind of birds, another airshow .
