Sandhill Crane out for morning stroll
Beautiful portrait of the sandy, Ed.
Went to West Virginia yesterday for an airshow, no Blue Angels nor Thunderbirds, but the F-22 is enough for me to get my butt over to get some shots, 200-600 and 600GM+1.4 TC.
This is an "if only" shot... "If only" the mesquite wasn't in front of the third buck
It crops down to the two nicely...but...I really wish I could have had all three lined up. There were seven bucks hanging out together... interesting to see. Enjoy the day all.

Thank you Leon! I will see the F-22 again in about 2 weeks at Oceana Naval Station in Virginia, alone with the Blue Angels and other performers. They just removed the navy's F-35C demo from the performers list due to "operational reasons", perhaps they got more important stuff to do. The F-35C team is not a full time demo team. I watched them twice and they are even more fun to watch than the air force' s F-35A. This will be the last airshow I can go this year. Preying for good weather and some vapor cones.
