So just wondering are they feeding or something or are you catching them in mid flight? I ask because I've attempted to track birds in flight and they fly so amazingly fast and sometimes erratic that I don't get how people can track them though I suppose it comes down to skill and a bit of luck.
Btw just amazing how clear the pictures are. The 3rd and 4th with those very vibrant colors are very pretty especially.

If you are asking about the hummingbird photos, 99% of all hummingbird in "flight" photos are shot when they are hovering/feeding either in front of a feeder or flowers.
They are actually really easy to shoot with any modern camera. Way easier than most BIF. Now trying to catch a hummingbird in actual flight is very, very difficult. You rarely see it but some have managed it.

One of my favourite ducks. Nicely done, Doug.
Thank you Christian! There is a brood of wood duck babies there but I didn't see them. I lucked out with the in-flight shots at 1/640 second. I didn't have time to change the shutter speed when they decided to take off from the log.
Skylark , love listening to these whilst out for a walk, couldn't get any decent perched shot so just grabbed a few flight shots all big crops

Power dynamic. Fish got stranded high and dry by the tide and the little blue passed on the easy grab.

Another shot where fish eye focus worked Not as dramatic an effect as some times I've had this happy accident.
