While standing on the beach the other morning waiting for the sunrise, I saw some rocks to my left with waves gently crashing in. I recalled years ago when I used to do a bit of long-exposure shots, so thought I would try it (sans filter) with the 200-600. Not sure if I like it or not, it's kind of a "meh" shot, but fun to try that again. I tried turning it into B&W, but it actually looks better in colour.

Looking at pexels flowers from my Garden.
Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm Macro Apo-Lanthar. 2 Macro Focusing rails were used to position the camera and lens on the tripod head and tripod. The lower focusing rail for the X-axis (left and right postioning) was the Leofoto MP-180S and the upper focusing rail for the Y-axis (front and back positioning) was the Swebo LS001. Lighting with Adaptalux studio with Control Pod 3.0 on mini tripod and 3 white Adaptalux LED light arms.
ISO 100, f11, 0.4 Second; silent shutter.

In my kitchen set up as a mini studio; Breinigsville, PA.
First outing with the new firmware. I am not convinced it is any better. Doesn't seem any worse either. A couple times it surprisingly instantly snapped to the birds eye when it may not have before. But for the most part seemed unchanged based on one outing in poor light.
Not a wide variety of subjects today.

For those who did the recent FW update, any comment of the bird eye AF after the weekend's usage? I only had a brief encounter with a hummingbird for about 20 seconds after the update, can't say I liked it.
