Looking at a "carpet" of Muscari "Bluebells" in a field of Muscari "Bluebells". You can see one of the paths separating the different patches of plants and flowers to try to keep viewers from stepping on them.
Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm f2.5 Macro Apo-Lanthar, FE mount; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f11, 1/30 second.

RIAT should be on my bucket list. There are hundreds of airshow every year here in the U.S. but I don't think there is one that features performers from so many countries. I hope you got to see that crazy good Belgian F-16 pilot, he is something else.

Looking at our blooming White Dogwood white Bracts and flowers in the center of each of the 4 Bracts.
Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm f2.5 Macro Apo-Lanthar, FE mount; silent shutter. Leofoto MP-180S Focusing Rail used to position the camera on the tripod with 11" Variable Friction Arm attached to the rail to mount, postion, and aim the Ulanzi VL-49 RGB LED light to supplement the lighting (set to 5500 degrees K at 100 %).
ISO 400, f8, 1/100 Second (in some wind).
Exposure Corrected +0.18 Stops.

It was a first for me Douglas , must admit I really enjoyed it . The only downside was the heatwave in the UK over the weekend , the haze was pretty bad so was ruining most shots .
We got to see the Belgian F-16, the other Viper had some engine problems on Sunday so this one used this one instead

I saw some videos of the Belgian F-16 at RIAT. The pilot pulled some crazy maneuvers that I have never seen done by an F-16 at airshows here. But then from what I read, that pilot has over 5000 hours flying F-16, he knows how to "drift" the jet!

Longest fight I've seen between these guys. Don't think it was mating. Usually the squabbles are over in seconds. This went on for a minute or more.
