400 v 600...if only one?...I'm not sure yet. I'm actively thinking on that question as I'm considering just keeping one of them. I find it simpler to not have to choose which one to take out on any given day.
As far as 1.3FW goes....the only thing I think may be a bit better is the system finding the eye when the bird is partially obstructed by vegetation, sticks. But I don't have 2 A1s to test out back to back, one on each FW so I can't really say for certain.
I didn't notice any obvious increase in keeper rate for perched or BIF after shooting 1.3FW for the past 3 days. It is a hard thing to evaluate as the A1 already has a very high success rate....Show more →
Appreciate the feedback. Choosing between two superb lenses can't be an easy decision to make. Good luck

For "fast" cards for my 2 A1s, I have 2 Sony 160GB Type A cards and 2 Sony 128GB SF-G Tough Cards (300mb read speed and 299mb write speed), saw B&H had a bunch of cards on sale and bought 2 Lexar 128GB 2000x cards (300mb read speed, 260mb write speed), the price was pretty good in my opinion so I bought 2.

Looking at the Sicily coast? from the Ferry between Messina on Sicily and the Mainland of Italy as we passed the Caronte & Tourist Ferry traveling in the opposite direction. The Trenitalia train that we rode from Taormina to Messina was loaded onto the Ferry. The Ferry ride across the Strait of Messina and mainland Italy is 3.2 miles. From there after the train was off loaded, we rode the train to Napoli (Naples).
Fairly Heavily Cropped, Hand Held, relying on Camera IBIS, A1 and Voigtlander 50mm f2 Apo-Lanthar Asph, FE mount; silent shutter.
