Some shots from yesterday, first time to see a snowie in the wild, very very far away with messy background, heavily cropped and noise reduced, the final JPEG files of the snowie are about 1 MP only.

Along the roadway before the split to the Lehigh County Zoo and the rest of the Nature Preserve, Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
Got my new toy on Wednesday . Sony 70-200mm 2.8 II There is a time and place to use this lens for me. In some cases I don't need as much reach. Could have tweaked these a little more but wanted to show the capability of this lens . Can't say it focuses much faster than my 2-6 .Lower iso allows more cropping. Experts can weigh in please
The blackbird is wide open 2.8 in crop mode. The pic is cropped at least 80% Just slightly sharpened
