I was inside about 15 feet away and opened the glass door a little bit to take the shots.
The deer and elk around here are cautious but not overly anxious.
About 30 to 40 years ago we got quite a bit of snow, also lots of lightning and thunder in summer.
Then there was a drought period of 15-20 years that killed off most of the PIΡON trees at our elevation.
Junipers were doing fine though. Lately snow has picked up a bit. We really need the moisture.
I would not say a lot of snow, but it is sticking around as it's fairly cold right now.
I remember in the late 80's within a 6 week period we got twice over night more than 3 feet of new snow.
That is the snow was as high or higher than chain link fences in town at an altitude of 7300 feet.
Well that was a lot of fun.
My prediction is that the a1 will finally be that Unicorn camera for you. It is a keeper and amazing on every level.
