Some shots from yesterday. This duck has become a celerity since it's so rare on the east coast. People say it might have been someone's pet. It hangs out with a female wood duck. His wings are probably clipped. No one has seen him flying.

Not a great shot by any means, but a Snowy Owl is super rare for Vancouver Island. I saw this female today, unfortunately it wouldn't budge from the roof-top.
