Put the a1 on a tripod, mount a high quality Zeiss lens, hold it all real still and it makes a fine landscape camera. This image shot with my Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2. Hard to beat it for color and detail.

Enjoy!
Thanks 1bwana1 for a terrific image. I agree.
You just talked me into using my Batis 25/2 on my A1.
So many lenses and so little time.
Super...as an aside, it always surprising to see Madrones that far north, they are normally a southern Oregon, California tree (best firewood out there).
I decided to try shooting in HEIF format (4:2:2) and foolishly assumed that programs would have been updated by now to read it. It seems like Lightroom Classic still doesn't recognize Sony's .HIF format. Windows 10 also seems to only be able to read the tiny thumbnail and not the full image. This is very disappointing.
Does anyone shoot HEIF? If so, what is your viewing/editing process like? Sorry if there is a more appropriate thread for this question, but a quick search did not turn up anything promising.
