Today I tried to shoot BIF from the tilt screen. Shooting this camera handheld is just too easy now.

This sequence was with the camera on the toe of my shoe, left hand holding the end of the lens hood and I had to swivel the camera on my shoe to pan with the oystercatcher. Turned out okay with just a bit of operator error as it came really close to me.

151 frames at 30FPS...

Some from Saturday am. The spoonbills are only remarkable because they have been here all summer and are 1000 miles from their normal range

I had to wait quite a while for them to flush before getting the shot. They were pretty much heads down the rest of the time
