Ah...its good enough...also these reviewers really need to get out of Wide AF if you are targeting a bird in a bunch of branches. There will be methods to get this bird eye af working really well...I already have some ideas....same thing with R5...there are tricks to getting it to work really well. Can't wait to put it through my tests....
And I see from that video that you can program a button to cycle through human/animal/bird eye AF. Which is useful. Hopefully, you can toggle it on and off too.

The A9II after FW update already has a Toggle option for Face/Eye-AF as a whole. So that should still be available...on my A9II I have it set to left arrow on the rear command dial.
With a dummy battery, he was able to record 8k/24p for over 3 hours before he stopped the recording saying he could have recorded longer, and no overheating warning
The A1 is a better video camera than the A7siii, mind blown..... Sony is crippling the A1 as well, the rolling shutter of 8K is intentionally bad, the A7siii is the exact opposite, the rolling shutter in video is better than it is in stills................ Not to mention that the sensor is technically capable of 8K 240fps....... the A2 has room for improvement
DPR rarely show action shots, just good for, like you said, RAWs and general IQ.

The DPReview galleries are low ISO, non-action shots. Not really useful to gauge the difficult shots this camera is meant for but at least they gave the RAW files.

Bring on the A1II....
My A1II requests:
1) Top plate LCD
2) Higher res rear tilt screen with dual axis (but NO FLIPPY)
3) Move the REC button more to the right and the AF-ON also to make room.
4) Make AEL button bigger like AF-ON

All nitpicks...A1 looks amazing...
I think much more useful would be native ISO 50 and a built in electronic ND filter like found on cine cameras.

Here's another, towards the last 5 minutes, bird eye AF demo with the 135/1.8
Did sony send the 135/1.8 ask everyone to shoot with the 135/1.8?
This was an amusing video. I like his comment that this is a camera for real professionals, i.e. photographers who don't smile.
Also the shots of bird eye focus starting at about 14:30 show promising results.
After the initial review from 4 days ago, did we hear anything from TN? Did Sony slap his hand for saying or showing things prematurely and he was not supposed to during the “embargo” period?

Sure seems like it. No new review video about the Alpha 1 on the Tony and Chelsea YouTube channel
Couple of polite but interesting comments about what others are posting maybe prematurely about the A1's capabilities. Mark also used the A1 with the GM 200-600 but did not give an opinion other than judge for ourselves with the photos posted. *See *Greyhounds racing images ( up to 45MPH) shoot with the G 200-600.
