Well, Ed and I will be forwarding our photos to her. After checking her other photos on her website, I think she will have some sort of confidence in us

Ed, do you mind doing the negotiation with her? I think you gave her a very good impression...and she's yet to find out that you are still single

Thanks James...glad you do

It's just whatever you can imagine doing with slow shutter speed, no tricks. I think it's a simple technique to learn but difficult to master.

I reckon some of them are too heavy-handed

I agree they are nice...Richard has a good eye for photo

Can't imagine combining what I see in Richard's gallery with some warm sunset lighting ... I will probably book the next flight to Xian China

I think you could write letters if you had the shutter opened long enough.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I think China is a great place to be for photos, especially if u go without a tour group, u can choose the desired lighting condition. There are plenty of opportunities for portraits and environmental portraits of people out there, unfortunately i wasn't game enough to ask them for photos, they'll probably ask me for money in return! Taking candids of them are probably not a good idea either. Having the wide lens with the hood, everyone was looking at me, i never felt safe.

I'll try printing some hua shan photos to see how the white balance turn out on prints.

Mate, I don't need to have portraits of myself, I am married... the single guy may need it

(BTW, I am just testing the single guy's limit)

It seems like that Anzac Day doesnt really have an official site.

It looks like that there's a ceremony at dawn and two parade/marches from 9 to 12.30. then a sunset ceremony at 5pm. But I want to find out the exact time and venue, route of those parades etc. Hope I can find more info.

An update on the participants:

1. Zane
2. Greg
3. Ed ... the... *cough**cough*
4. Chris
5. Maurie (trying to make it)
6. Richard (he's going to boating and fishing on Sat, can make it on Mon)
7. Smelly (morning)

JAMES, can you make it?

Anyone else?

Anyone has more info
