What's ridiculous is that I can rock up to a winery with a couple and hang out "like friends" and take a few shots around for a pre-wedding shoot or portrait session without any questions asked most of the time.
As soon as you rock up with a couple wearing a dinner suit and a billowing white dress, you get stares and questions and demanded $$$ of.
Hi guys! I have a question for all of you...I'm heading down under for a holiday in a week. I'll be spending time in Port Douglas, Melbourne, and finally Sydney where I'll be attending a wedding aboard a boat floating through Sydney Harbour. One of the things I'd love to do while I'm down there is to get some sunrise/sunset or night shots of the Skylines in Sydney and Melbourne. Can any of you recommend a few good vantage points. This is my first trip to Australia and I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it!

One of the many bridges on the Yarra, near the city will give you nice views. Also the bridge that crosses from the city, over the Yarra, to the crown casino is spectacular.
