Tony, they're completely silent. As for how much they can fit... have a look at the gear listed in my profile - the small one can fit all of the canon stuff.

Thanks Ed .If you fit all that in I'll have no trouble fitting everything i own in the small one. Do you keep the camera bodies in there as well ?

Yep. The small one has two trays, the big one has three. I can fit all of my canon gear in two trays, including the bodies (I still can).

Nice, Chris. I think the difference in background colour is because yours weren't sufficiently backlit. I think you needed an extra flash just to light the background from behind. Having said that, I like it dark.

There were two of us one dropping the bottle one driving the remote took about 30 images to get the lighting correct then another 100 odd after that. Got quite a few with the bottle just suspended above the water, the bottle was easier as it popped back up to the surface. The lemon on the other hand went out the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the tank a lot faster. Still agreat way to fill in 3-4 hours

Thanks for the feedback guys

Spoolin (Chris) I like the idea but I also think the light in the eyes are a bit strong. Not sure if I like the oof nose maybe just me. Still it is (portraits) one area I have not manged to make a decent go of yet so maybe I should not be saying anything at all

Yes I have since found out it is due to light drop off, there is not much output at 1/2500 sec. The softbox flash had the softbox actually sitting against the glass and the other flash was about 600mm away

I don't really remember how much. I *think* the small one cost me around $220, and the big one cost me around $310.

Going to pick up my Dry Cabinet tomorrow I now have some prices very happy.
AD030 29L Interior:W280xD245xH420 2x trays $195 (small)
AD042 40L Interior:W310xD300xH435 3x trays $230
AD050 50L Interior:W310xD300xH538 3x trays $264
AD050C 50L Interior W310xD300xH538 (classic) which has a full glass front & its Black its $286.
Most camera shops are selling them for a lot more then this like a camerahouse store in the city selling the AD042 40L for $385 that's a $155 saving
Just thought I let you all know if any body is after one pm me for the info.

Hey Tofu sent you a pm with the info

I got my Dry cabinet 50L one it's great now I can sleep at night knowing that all my glass is safe in side it.
When I got it home I was shocked that my house was at 80%RH way in the red on the guage now all my gear is at 40%RH perfect.Thats with it set on medium can go lower but was told thats right for camera gear.
So if you plan on keeping your glass for a long time or wish to get top dollar for it when you sell it I think a Dry cabinet is the way to go.
These prices are only good for this mouth.
