never do dummy bids...that's illegal
Of course. I could have used the filters, but I have a 40GB compactdrive so I don't need another storage unit at all.
I only shoot raw so the epson wouldn't be much use to me, since it doesn't decode 1d mkII raw files, just displays embedded jpg's (a la 10D). If this one had a larger screen I'd be interested.

Oh, I thought it displays raw files for 1D2 ... just can't zoom in
WHEN THE BIG DAY ARRIVES: Saturday March 5
6am Clearways will take effect on both sides of the streets around the parade route. These will all have signs erected for information one week prior to the parade. Driver Avenue will be closed.
3pm Police will close Elizabeth Street, between Goulburn and Market streets, to traffic. Some Flinders Street northbound lanes will close.
4.45pm Parade route closed to traffic by police. Oxford Street will be closed at Glenmore Road for all westbound traffic, where it will be diverted in the appropriate direction.
5.30pm Street entertainment begins along the parade route, until 7.30pm.
7.45pm Parade starts at Elizabeth Street and proceeds along Liverpool, Oxford and Flinders streets, ending at Moore Park Road. Moore Park Road and Driver Avenue remain closed to allow parade vehicles to exit the route. There is no public viewing in this area.
11pm The last float will arrive at the end area. Street cleaning will begin quickly. The police will coordinate the program of re-opening streets
***********************************
I think we can start say at 5.30 on the streets. We can have some good lights at this time of the day. Street entertainment finishes at 7.30. We can then decide whether we want to stay for the parade or dinner...

I wouldn't even have tried it with a manual focus lens. I have no idea how anyone could get decent shots of kids running around in the good old days.
Mick told me he was taking pic of boxing games in the good old days. He said got to learn to pre-focus
