The problem I had with the 135/3 wasn't IS but I underestimated dof way too much. I thought being f/2 meant you were obliged to shoot it at f/2

DOF is very very thin.. but as I said on the day, 135 is very very long and quite useless even in such a large environment unless you were going for just a head shot. You really can't do much with putting the head and a sizeable chunk of the body in the frame.

After 2 years, my Canon i9100 has blocked yellow nozzles which I can't seem to unblock despite repeated attempts at "deep cleaning". I've tried cleaning the printer head electronic contacts with no improvement.

Do you guys have any ideas how to fix it, or do I need a new printer / new head?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

yeah, i think 85mm is a better choice for portraiture in whatever environment, esp on a 1.6crop body

I never liked the 85mm until Sunday... We'll see anyway with another portrait session.. whenever that happens.

Greg you should buy new head for the printer. Even if you do clean the printer head it might start to band when printing. Two years use is pretty good.

James, you aren't doing any speed though!!!!!! What you need is the needle on the red line and also at the 200km/h reading.
