A couple of portraits I shot for a young girl's first modeling portfolio.
Lit using natural light and a silver reflector. Shot using my original Canon 5D with a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro USM lens attached.

The b&w image is a nice variation from the norm with the "mussy" hair look. It would work well in her book.
The only nit I have with the color image is her lips. One, they are two different colors and two, they appear to be quite dry, especially the top one.

I agree, it's something that catches my eye when I review the image. I suppose I was being lazy trying to get these photos finished during the retouching process. Admittedly I hate retouching photos but I also love the end result. Eventually I'd like to outsource to a very talented retoucher who actually enjoys doing it. Until then, I suppose I should be a little bit less lazy about it.
