Ahhh, Yellowstone. Like a box of chocolates - you just never know what you're gonna get. Nice series.
You got that right. It was hard to tear myself away from the grizzly elk kill from time to time, but there is so much to find, as as you said, you never know what you're going to get. Part of the fun!

Mind blown!! Do you know how the Bison in #4 might have died? Its skinned tail makes me think a wolf kill??
Thanks. The bison in #4 was hit and killed by car. The rangers dragged it away from the road. But it was not there for long. The rangers were not even satisfied with that and returned with a backhoe and completely removed it.
I see far too many people speeding and tailgating in Yellowstone. Just take your time, enjoy the scenery and environment, and you'll find things.
Cheers,
