Nice imaging, Kane. I see by 'Badlands', you mean the area in Utah generally around Hanksville.
On these forums, and most others, when someone indicates that you used a drone for aerial photography, the topic quickly leaves any discussion of the images presented and becomes a platform for the haters to spew. I am generalizing of course, as not all drone detractors are adamant about their issues. I've posted many fine aerial landscape images here and elsewhere and it always happens even though I mainly fly away from people and in remote areas. My drone is just another camera that flies. And it is registered with the FAA. I am a member of the local drone club, and we advocate proper, safe, and legal flying practices. I can go on about how courteous and safe I am when flying but I stopped since it's not going to make an arbitrary hater stop hating. People have their minds made up, don't confuse them with the facts. Hating drones is all the rage these days. Like politics!
Marvelous images Kane. Loved the light and composition in these. Really loved #2 & #4. Would love to see a larger version if you have hosted them somewhere.
Just stunning compositions!!!! I never realized how beautiful and diverse the Badlands were until your images! Stunning color, geography.....Well done!!
Dan
Incredible images...just incredible! I'm planning a trip to that area next spring and I know I'm going to wish I had a drone with me. Thanks for sharing your images.
