Thanks! Good question, so from what I understand, it's named the Salt River because it flows over some salt deposits. Though, it only has trace levels of salt and is otherwise freshwater.

Fantastic capture. Great comp, exposure, focus. This is a 30 minute drive from my house. I need to make it out there more often. Any wild horses around when you shot this?

Thank you! No wild horses this time around, unfortunately. But they always make for a nice surprise when visiting the Salt River.
