But what a grand place it is. Valley View, or Gates to the Valley, as it is sometimes called, is always a wonderful scene. None more so as when the weather, fall, and winter come together for a spectacular event. Yosemite National Park, CA.
I really like your take on this, the lighting is beautiful. I like the mix of warm and cool tones but I do think that the granite walls and the sky are just a bit too cool. Still it's a photo that really captures my attention.
Thanks everyone. I was dealing with a variety of light types, and the associated color temps. Made for a fascinating effect but can still confuse the mind. Might not be for everyone. Overall I think it works.
