Well, I'm trying to support my local shop. But they still can't give me an update on when their shipment comes in. Best buy has them in stock right now still. If I was Hunt's I'd be a little pissed off at Sony. It's not like they are a one store outfit. I'm going to give them a couple more days.

This is one thing about Big Bronco tests I do is that upper left knot is my guidance. I will certainly do it with the GM and the Sigma. I’m sure Fred’s tests will be published soon and his infinity tests are quite good. Seriously he is the only one I trust at this testing
The Sony has higher contrast in the OOF rendering and for this reason I prefer the Bigma's rendering here. The latter has a bit more optical vignetting but it's also a f/1.2 lens.

I have the 35mm Sigma 1.2 and because of its size and weight don't take it with me very often.
I am torn between the new Sony GM 35 1.4 and the Voigt Apo lanthar f2. If I was shooting landscapes exclusively based on what I have seen would go with the Voigt. However the new Sony might be a good walk around lens as well.
Having lightly tested my 35 GM at infinity distances, the Sony would definitely excel at landscapes and has ridiculously good cross frame resolution. The Voigt might be marginally better, but I haven’t tested a single lens on the r4 that comes close to what this 35 GM is doing

GM F1.4
Did you adjust for the different FOV of the Sigma vs. the GM? When I did test it in my interior, the Sigma had very strong distortion and the GM was clearly wider. At f1.4 and when getting closer with the GM, differences weren't that huge anymore.

My biggest issue on my Sigma test was distortion. I’m waiting for the GM but the Sigma is a issue for me.
At weddings we needed to learn to shoot a bit wider, as distortion correction in LR did change the final FOV quite clearly. Much better with the 35 GM.
After quite a few sessions with it, we don't look back to the big and heavy Sigma.

What do you mean? If distortion correction is enabled in camera, then what you see on EVF/LCD is also corrected.

Nope. Shot from tripod. GM seems to be closer to a true 35mm FOV. Bigma is a tad longer.
My samples had the distortion profile in LR enabled..mostly to correct the vignetting wide open so you can see the bokeh better. Sigma has more distortion SOOC, but the GM, while better, is not free from distortion either. Leaning on software correction of some slight distortion is pretty standard for FE glass these days. I pretty much expect to correct it in post now. It's usually mild enough that its a non-issue once the profiles are applied in LR/C1, and that is true of both the GM and Bigma.
