So many birds species love the rain, I do too although I don't like to get my gear wet.
In the recent days Eta and now Iota hurricanes are bringing an extra dose of rain into Central America but still it hasn't stop me from going out and try to get a few shots.
Here are some of the new pictures I have had the chance to take. All images taken with Sony A9II and 600f/4.
Many thanks for looking and for your comments.
This is such a cool raptor, first arriving in CR from SA not so long ago. Pearl Kite.
Black-crowned Tityra yawning.
Boat-billed Heron.
Red-headed Barbet male.
White-throated Magpie-Jay
Streak-chested Antpitta, not an easy bird by any means.

That's understandable. My eye is getting a bit tired of fully clean backgrounds, some habitat inclusion is what I am after these days.
I love environmental portraits. Sometimes it's a fine line between adding and distracting. Your last is a great example of doin it correctly.
