Terrific shot Bob, the wing tips have jus the right amount of blur with the rest of the body tack sharp and what a nice clean background. Very nicely done.

Superb! We have dozens of these around us, and I just can't get anywhere near them. I think my only chance will be to set up a blind this winter. They also fly very fast, so I am doubly impressed you could track it! The colorful background is the cherry on top.
Man I have tried for years just to get a good shot of one of these perched in a tree (they're not native to my area), and you got such a great in flight image!
