WOW! Stunning images. Thanks.
A gem of a lens. Worthy of GM label IMHO.
K-H.
@k-h.a.w - thank you so much for your compliments! I agree that this should be a GM lens - it complements the 14GM for astro quite nicely.
FYI - all these shots were made on the lovely and tiny island of Monhegan, Maine 10 miles off the coast of Boothbay Harbor. Like the 20G, the island is a gem.
I have some astro-landscape stuff too. I posted it in other thread, but it belongs here, too.
Astro landscape with 20/1.8G (vertical panorama, 2 camera angles with framing overlapping at horizon, many pictures merged to improve noise for stars using Sequator, many pictures taken for bottom part including imperfect focus stacking):
Sky 59x 8s iso 1600 f/1.8 20mm while Moon was below horizon.
Darks 8x 8s iso 1600 f/1.8 20mm.
Blurred sky 3x for starglow effect.
Foreground 196x (split into stacks for several focus distances) 30s iso320 f/1.8 20mm while Moon raised above horizon.
Sky processing: sequator, gimp, lr, ps, starnet++
Foreground processing: gimp
Panorama processing: ptgui standard
Final processing: ps

I traded Loxia 21 for a second hand Sony 20G. Zeiss lenses have their own appeal, but I have no regrets - af is practical to have, brighter max aperture makes sometimes difference, and lighter weight is plus.
Loving your work, @tuomkok! May I ask what state you live in to be getting these wonderful winter wonderland images you post? I’m in SE Ohio and we don’t usually get intense snow like yours.

Cheers,

Thanks Ross I live in Finland. This winter has been very cold with plenty of powder like snow, creating beautiful conditions for photography.
