Always get some inspiration and understanding of how to use lenses from seeing images here and elsewhere. Thought I'd show a little of how I'd been using the lens for everyday documentation—especially in quarantine lol. We have a smallish apartment so the sheer breadth of the FOV is helpful—so long as you don't ruin a shot with excessive amounts of perspective distortion.
I've said it before and I'll repeat it here: hands down the best lens I've used to date. I still need to get to grips with how this lens treats color—as it exhibits greater color contrast than any lens I've ever used... often feel the need to desaturate and lower contrast with images, which is a first. The only optical flaw I've found is a red-shift in colors towards the periphery in the right lighting conditions. Other than that... AF is amazing, resolution almost seems to be at max from wide open, smooth transitions from focus plane to either foreground or background... I feel there's almost nothing to fault except the two issues mentioned earlier. Truly a remarkable feat from Sony, and probably the biggest reason I've decided to get the 35 GM eventually.
I never considered this lens, but it seems I made a mistake. It can be a cheaper alternative to my everyday 24mm GM street lens when trying to minimize risks. Congrats for all the happy owners.
The picture the impressive me the most is the one with the sin flare beautiful render with the star shape

This lens cost more than professional equipment and liability insurance. Just get good coverage if you're concerned with risk.
