Quick question about this lens. So I have a z9 and I have a 70-200 f2.8 vrii. I am thinking about selling the vrii and getting this lens. My question for those that have had both, is there a significant difference between the 2 lenses. If so, what kind of differences can I expect.

You can see MTF measuremente of the VR ii vs 70-200/2.8e FL and
70-200/2.8e FL vs the Z mount.
Measurement aside, I thought going from Vr ii to e FL version is a bigger improvement than
going from e FL to Z mount version personally and was quite surprise as to how
much better the Z mount version is according to MTF chart.
One with a ZTC14
Good things happen when you are sitting behind brush and wearing camo and shooting w/ a silent shutter... no cropping Take a look at the focal length!

Sharper, more contrast, real 200mm vs the vrii, less focus breathing, closer mfd (a big one for me) and quieter.
The vrii is still a very nice lens, but yes, there’s a noticeable difference.

Anyone else have a copy with "play" at the lens mount? My copy has the slightest amount of lens shift and it bothers me. Went to the local Best Buy and their sample has the same "issue."
