Have you tried the new landscape polarizer Richard, and if so, any thoughts vs the standard pro one? It does seem to have a much cooler colour balance, although Nisi is arguing it has better colour balance?, and charging you $100 extra for the privilege!
No I haven't tried the 'enhanced' landscape CPL for S5/S6 and don't intend to. I have the standard (also known as the "PRO") CPL, and also the CPL+ND64, both of which are a bit warm so I can swap them without too much color variation. In contrast, the enhanced CPL color is as you say cool, which would be more problematic for me.
I initially bought my S5 CPL+ND64 on the basis of really liking my 82mm version of that filter, which only had a very slight color cast. But to my surprise the S5 version turned out to be noticeably warmer. You can see a comparison I posted here. When I talked to Nisi about it, they told me they had to change the process for the larger filters.

I am the proud new owner of the s6 system with their just released natural cpl. It is the neutral option, whereas the pro cpl is warm and the enhanced landscape cpl is blue like a lee big stopper. I Picked it up direct from nisi usa in Santa Monica and only played around with it inside after work last night. It looks really neutral. It however doesn't 100% polarize. This was another difference between the pro and landscape versions: the pro was a partial polarization but the landscape had a stronger maximum effect. I could not get the new neutral cpl to fully black out my monitor like a breakthrough cpl i have. I am not overly concerned because i am worried about using a cpl on a 12mm with sky in the image already

Thanks for the heads up on the new natural CPL. It's color looks very good judging from Nisi's samples. Hopefully they'll release an ND64+CPL with the same color balance in due course, as that's my most used filter.
On a somewhat related note for those using the S5 adapter with other lenses, it may be worth flocking the inside of the adapter to reduce potential veiling flare as the flocked S6 is excellent in that regard.

The close focusing on this lens is really impressive.
Thanks for sharing.
In practice the Sigma 14-24 DN can focus substantially closer than the Sony 12-24 GM. But for some reason Sigma have understated its minimum focus distance in the official specs. Having owned both, I much prefer the Sigma in this regard.

I have come across this on several lenses, that actually focus closer than MFD. Typically, IQ degrades it seems at the true minimum MFD, so I wonder if makers are stating it slightly longer for that reason, more as threshold for optical IQ. Does the Sigma lose IQ when focused closer than the stated MFD?

That's certainly a possibility Unfortunately I don't have the Sigma anymore to check.
First time posting! I've been lurking in this forum for awhile now and it's been so helpful for me in rounding out my lens kit. I recently purchased both the 12-24GM and the Nisi S6 system, but I've found the system to be a bit bulky. Has anyone tried the Haida rear lens filters for the 12-24GM?
I just got the lens myself. I did order the Haida filters and installed the filter holder onto the back of the lens. I like that the Haida filters are glass but so far, I have not had a chance to use them so I can only comment that the filters are easy to install in the holder.
Had some free time today while downtown so I went for a short walk to play with this new beast of a lens.
Took the 12-24 and 16-35 GM's out this morning to try and convince myself that I could get away with just the 16-35 GM. I failed.. Will be keeping both.
